Ebert is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mean Street - Van Halen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Balsac finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Balsac tries to score with a low kick but Ebert moves his leg out of the way.
Balsac rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ebert moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ebert shoots in for a takedown but Balsac shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Balsac looks to score with a jab to the body but Ebert is just out of range.

Balsac really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Balsac's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ebert lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Balsac wants to hold on but Ebert pushes him away.

Balsac is desperately trying to improve his position but Ebert has a good base and remains in mount.

It looks like Harry Balsac has been cut.
Ebert postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Balsac badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Ebert around the waist but Ebert pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Ebert is the winner by TKO! Ebert jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A very excited looking Russel Ebert rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
