Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drago Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Picker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Drago Pain has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drago Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Picker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain scores with a punch to the head.
Picker dodges the punch combination from Pain.
Pain tries to clinch but Picker is having none of it.
Some wild striking there from Pain.
Picker misses with a takedown attempt - Pain sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Drago Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pain throws the kick towards the body but Picker avoids it.

Picker looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Picker stands up over Pain, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Picker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pain is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Picker is controlling him.
Picker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Picker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Picker lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Pain wants to stand and escape but Picker is having none of it.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Picker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Picker trying to control but Pain is working from the bottom.
Picker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Picker is working Pain over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Picker distracts Pain with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Picker trying to control but Pain is working from the bottom.
Picker is pushing down on Pain's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pain is fighting to maintain full guard but Picker has managed to sneak the leg through.
Picker stops Pain from getting back to his feet.
Picker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pain is trying to stand up here but Picker is controlling him well.

Picker postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Pain to stand up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pain moves into the clinch.

Picker breaks the clinch.
Pain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Picker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Picker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pain but Pain pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pain gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Picker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Picker won't allow Pain to get back to his feet.

Picker stands and steps away. Pain gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Pain is breathing heavily.

Picker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pain is trying to defend but Picker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Picker works his way into full mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pain is trying to stand.
Picker scoring with strikes but Pain is staying in there.
Pain takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Picker connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Picker lands with some strikes.
Picker landing strikes from the mount.
Pain trying desperately to get to his feet.
Picker lands a heavy elbow.


Pain is rocked!
Picker pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oh Pain is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pain wants to try and get back to his feet.
Pain seems to have got his legs back now.
Picker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Picker punishing his opponent with strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Picker is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pain is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pain flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Picker anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pain and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Picker slips an arm under Pain chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Picker has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Picker is squeezing on Pain like an anaconda would it's prey. Pain fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shane Picker!
