The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gat looks to land a combination but Abdalla avoids it well.
Gat fails to land with a series of punches.

Abdalla fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gat avoids it really well and circles away.
Gat misses with a combination

and Abdalla holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Gat tries to break free but Abdalla pushes him back against the cage.

Gat breaks from the clinch.
Abdalla takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Abdalla gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Rayle Amot Abdalla has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gat lands a big head kick that sends Abdalla tumbling to the mat! Gat takes a step backwards and waves Abdalla back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Abdalla is rocked!

Gat gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Abdalla is still on wobbly legs! Can Gat finish him?

Gat breaks from the clinch.
Abdalla drops his hands momentarily and Gat needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Abdalla just on the top of the head. Abdalla drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Abdalla - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Johnny Gat!
A relieved looking Johnny Gat thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
