Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro tries for a takedown but Cunnings sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ribeiro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ribeiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Cunnings tries to sprawl out of it but Ribeiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cunnings manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Ribeiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ribeiro tries to free his leg and advance position but Cunnings is retaining full guard.
Cunnings keeping moving, preventing Ribeiro from controlling successfully.
Cunnings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ribeiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ribeiro forces his way into half guard.

Ribeiro prevents Cunnings from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ribeiro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cunnings is defending against the submission attempts here by Ribeiro.
Cunnings is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ribeiro wants to control but Cunnings is keeping him busy.
Ribeiro is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cunnings is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
