Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimboso Akamawah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Aggot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aggot changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Akamawah looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Akamawah has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aggot is working away from the top position though.
Aggot slips a nice elbow through Akamawah's hands, connecting with Akamawah's forehead.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Akamawah enables Aggot to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Akamawah manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
