The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yankowsky walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Steele tries to land a front kick but Yankowsky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A nice leg kick lands there from Steele.
Yankowsky walks into a left hand.
Yankowsky has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Yankowsky tries to clinch up
enabling Steele to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steele connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Yankowsky momentarily.
Yankowsky avoids the head kick by Steele.
Steele circles away from the clinch attempt
and Steele counters with a one-two to the body.
Steele throws the kick towards the body but Yankowsky avoids it.
Yankowsky wants to clinch
and Steele counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Steele lands a really nice looking cross but Yankowsky seems unphased.

Yankowsky is rocked!
Yankowsky looks up at the clock. Bad move! Steele lands a right hand from hell, dropping Yankowsky. Steele pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Logan Steele!
