The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Mee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Mee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Resnov wants to hold on but Mee pushes him away.
Resnov is working to get back to half guard.
Mee sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Resnov sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Resnov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Resnov is trying to stand back up but Mee is controlling him
Mee passes the guard and advances to mount!

Mee lands a big elbow.
Mee lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Gabriel Resnov has been cut.

Mee is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Resnov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Resnov is in all sorts of trouble here.

Mee moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Resnov has worked his arm free - good work by Resnov!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Resnov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Resnov to his feet.

Mee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Resnov!
Resnov is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Resnov is bucking up trying to escape but Mee cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Jeez, Gabriel Resnov's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
