Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Patterson slaps away a takedown attempt from Morgan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Morgan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Patterson circles away.

Morgan clinches up with Patterson and pushes him back against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Morgan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Patterson's guard.
Patterson wants to get back to his feet but Morgan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Morgan wants to control from the top but Patterson keeps moving.

Morgan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Patterson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Patterson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Morgan drops back looking for a leg! Patterson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Patterson manages to kick Morgan off! Morgan jumps back into Patterson's guard.

Patterson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morgan defends it easily.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Morgan stalks Patterson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Patterson's face. Patterson staggers backwards, shaken.
Morgan throws a head kick that half lands.
Morgan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Patterson fails to land the takedown.
Morgan tries to clinch but Patterson is having none of it.

Morgan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morgan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Patterson avoids it really well and circles away.

Patterson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Morgan can't fight it off and eventually Patterson manages to take the fight to the floor. Morgan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Patterson is landing with some decent strikes but Morgan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
