The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapman stuffs the takedown.

Evans is looking to control Chapman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Evans avoid being mounted?
Evans is looking for a sweep. Chapman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Chapman wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance.

Chapman has closed the distance and engaged Evans in a clinch.

Evans changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chapman fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Leyland Chapman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Evans dives in and grabs Chapman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chapman pushes down on Evans's head and hops out.

Chapman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Chapman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Evans knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chapman on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chapman looks to land a combination. Evans sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Chapman is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Evans can't fight it off and eventually Chapman manages to take the fight to the floor. Evans looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Chapman stands up over Evans, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Evans wants to hold on but Chapman pushes him away.
Leyland Chapman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chapman is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Evans is forced to tap! Great finish!

Leyland Chapman decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
