Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ade Blum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Laden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Laden is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Laden!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laden with a poor takedown
and Blum counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Laden tries for a takedown but Blum sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A big left from Blum misses.
Blum smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nice sprawl there from Blum as Laden shoots in.
Ade Blum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Laden.

A shot to the liver by Blum. Beautiful body shot.
Jack Laden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laden tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Laden somewhat.
Blum stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blum wants it to stay on the feet.
Laden fails with a takedown attempt.
Laden shoots for a double leg takedown but Blum sprawls well. He's pushed Laden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Blum lands with a good body shot.
Laden misses with a takedown attempt
and Blum counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Laden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Laden tries to score with some ground and pound. Blum controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Laden misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Blum wants to get back to his feet.
Blum tries to buck Laden off but Laden is having none of it.

Laden works to advance to full mount. Blum defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Blum is wriggling around trying to escape.

Laden working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blum is desperately trying to improve his position but Laden has a good base and remains in mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Laden wants to finish this one by submission but Blum is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Laden.

Blum is trying to escape the mount.

Laden is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Blum is forced to tap! Great finish!
