Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Danjah pushes Chips up against the cage in a clinch.
Chips goes for a takedown in the clinch but Danjah prevents it.
Danjah prevents a takedown attempt there.

Danjah manages to break the clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Chips.
Danjah is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Danjah's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Danjah tries to buck Chips off but Chips is having none of it.
Chips works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Danjah is looking to regain half guard here but Chips keeps moving and retains side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chips fails to move to back control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chips trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Chips wants to finish this one by submission but Danjah is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chips.
Danjah tries to hold on but Chips postures up.
Chips prevents Danjah from getting the reversal.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Danjah tries to control Chips's body but Chips pushes him off. Danjah squirms to his side and now Chips has his back!

Chips throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Danjah shoots in looking for a takedown. Chips tries to sprawl out of it but Danjah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chips manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chips takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Harver Danjah is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Danjah fails with the takedown.
