Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Rosa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rosa dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Rosa's head and hops out.

Rosa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Johnson is controlling him.

Johnson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rosa, up you get!
Johnson throws a body punch but Rosa moves out of range.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rosa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rosa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes.
Poop Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rosa, pushing him back against the cage.
Johnson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Johnson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rosa tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.

Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rosa manages to get himself to full guard.
Johnson passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Johnson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rosa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Rosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.
Poor strikes thrown by Johnson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Johnson cracks Rosa with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Rosa is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Poop Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Alphonse Rosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Poop Johnson.
Horrible takedown by Rosa or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad.

Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rosa uses from the top position.

Oh but Johnson is tightening it up a little... Rosa has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rosa reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rosa taps out! Nice BJJ there by Johnson!
