Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Babuino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mankus Paliskus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Babuino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mankus Paliskus!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babuino keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Paliskus closes the distance and clinches up with Babuino, looking for a takedown. Paliskus pushes Babuino against the cage but Babuino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Babuino pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Paliskus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Babuino avoids it really well and circles away.
Sergio Babuino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mankus Paliskus.
Babuino keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Babuino rushes Paliskus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Babuino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Babuino slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Babuino moves into range and clinches up with Paliskus.

Babuino lands a left and a right that send Paliskus crashing to the mat, dazed. Babuino thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Paliskus is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Babuino fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Paliskus, pushing him back against the cage.
Paliskus is still on wobbly legs! Can Babuino finish him?

Babuino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Paliskus.

It looks like Mankus Paliskus has been cut.

Paliskus looks for a takedown but Babuino sprawls well.
Paliskus seems to have recovered his senses.
Paliskus looks gassed!
Paliskus shoots for a double leg takedown but Babuino sprawls well. He's pushed Paliskus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Paliskus fails with a takedown attempt.
Babuino lets loose with a powerful body kick. Paliskus will feel that in the morning.

Babuino has taken the fight to the clinch.
Babuino crunches a lovely knee into Paliskus's ribcage.

Babuino breaks from the clinch.
Babuino connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Paliskus tumbling to the canvas! Babuino pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Paliskus was done - good stoppage!

After winning the bout, Sergio Babuino thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
