The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish missing with a left hand there. Kowalski was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kowalski misses with a series of wild punches.
Kowalski throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fish counters with a right hand to the body.
Fish takes a swing at Kowalski's ribcage but misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fish throws a hook but Kowalski blocks it.
Kowalski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fish.
Nice defenses there by Kowalski.
Kowalski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kowalski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fish.
Fish throws a nice looking combination but Kowalski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fish cracks Kowalski with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kowalski looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fish finish him?

Kowalski is rocked!
Fish finds Kowalski's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Kowalski flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Fish lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kowalski will be OK.

A relieved looking Albert Fish thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
