Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rex Tremendous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Areeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tremendous comes to the cage accompanied by Rex Tremendae. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rex Tremendous!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Areeno!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Areeno shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Tremendous has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Areeno is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Areeno sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tremendous defending well though.
Areeno wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tremendous keeps working.
Tremendous is trying to control but can't.
Tremendous moves into full guard.
Areeno looking to pass the guard.
Areeno trying to control the position from guard on top but Tremendous is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Areeno lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Tremendous is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Areeno is aware though and is defending well.
Tremendous escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Areeno gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tremendous has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Areeno can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tremendous looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Areeno wants to pass the guard but Tremendous is keeping the position.
Areeno wants to control from the top but Tremendous keeps moving.
Areeno tries to free his leg and advance position but Tremendous is retaining full guard.
Areeno sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tremendous's guard.
Areeno seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tremendous does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Areeno prevents Tremendous from improving his position.
Areeno wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tremendous keeps working.
Areeno might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tremendous kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Tremendous manages to get to full guard.
Tremendous looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Areeno is defending well. Tremendous quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Areeno has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tremendous celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
