Tepes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. uncle otis- the game kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins misses with a hook
and Tepes counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Devon Collins has been cut.
Tepes swings for the body but Collins moves out of range.
Collins misses with an uppercut.
A slow jab from Collins misses its intended target.
Collins throws out a loose jab but Tepes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Collins doesn't manage to clinch there - Tepes circles away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tepes. That's going to slow Collins down.

Tepes moves into range and clinches up with Collins.
Collins is trying to pull guard but Tepes turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Collins misses with a punch to the body.

Tepes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tepes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Collins throws a right and a left that both miss.

Tepes scores with a sloppy right hand. Collins should have avoided that one.

Tepes clinches up against the cage.
Collins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Collins fails to pull guard.
Collins tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devon Collins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Collins has clasped his hands together around Tepes's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vlad Tepes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tepes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tepes throws a big shot that misses.

Tepes fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Collins is out of range.
Vlad Tepes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tepes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Collins.
Tepes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Collins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tepes.
Collins tries to clinch up.
Tepes throws a sloppy head kick and Collins moves out of range easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A combination from Tepes does no damage.
Collins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tepes.
Collins jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tepes scores with a head kick. Collins tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Devon Collins's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Collins feints and as Tepes raises his hands in defense, Collins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tepes looking for a sweep. Not yet Tepes, not yet.

Collins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tepes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Collins has Tepes in his guard.
Tepes trying to control the position from guard on top but Collins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Collins doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Collins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

In his post fight interview, Vlad Tepes started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
