PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Timer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Jumping Jack Flash. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Timer as Duke shoots in.
Duke moves in looking to clinch but Timer pushes him off.

Timer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Timer thows a huge punch but Duke dodges it nicely.

Duke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Timer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Timer shoots in looking for a takedown. Duke tries to sprawl out of it but Timer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Duke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Timer loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Duke scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Timer land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Timer stands and salutes the crowd.
