Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raimundo Soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Penguin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penguin has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! King Penguin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Penguin sprawls well initially but Soares persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Penguin looks gassed!
Soares wants to work for an arm triangle but Penguin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Soares drops an elbow to the side of Penguin's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Soares seems to be working for a kimura but Penguin defends the submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Soares looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That has opened up King Penguin's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at King Penguin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
