Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between AL Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Pardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez comes to the cage accompanied by mettallica. Pardo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Don't Stop Believing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! James Pardo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pardo circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Good leg kick by Pardo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pardo cracks the inside of Gonzalez's front leg.
Gonzalez shoots in but Pardo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pardo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Gonzalez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pardo's body to avoid the submission. Pardo has instead reached around Gonzalez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pardo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
