Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aj Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Out has chosen Kickstart as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aj Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Out!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith staying out of range there.
Out swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Out misses with a hook. Smith ducked under it nicely.
Out throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Smith.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Out sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Out misses with a few strikes there.
Out connects with a body shot that sends Smith's belly button to the back.
Out showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.

and Out counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Out.
Out lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Out tries a head kick but it misses.
Out defending well as Smith loads up on a big left hand.
Pablo Out is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Out goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Smith falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Out steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Smith misses with a looping right.
Smith finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A big right from Out misses.
Out misses with a head kick.
Out misses with a straight left.
Out connects with a crisp jab.
Smith throws a big shot that misses.
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith slips a jab from Out.
Out cracks Smith with an open hand slap.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Out tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Out to the ground. Out escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Out cracks Smith with a right hand to the side of the head.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Out.

Smith closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Out scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Smith closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Out to the mat! Out manages to get full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Out can't keep his opponent in guard - Smith advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Out really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Pablo Out will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Smith gets tackled into the cage by Out. Out maintains the clinch.

Out breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Out as he avoids it easily.
Out throws a good cross that connects.
Out jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Out with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Out.
Out scores with a punch to the head.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Out cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Out moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Out looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.

Smith misses with a looping left.
Out misses with a straight right.
Out throws an overhand right that lands on Smith's shoulder, as Smith tries to avoid the shot.

Out staying out of range there.
Out misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Pablo Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Smith.
Smith blocks a jab.

Out closes the distance and pushes Smith back into the cage.

Out looking to throw knees to the head but Smith is blocking nicely.
Smith tries to break the clinch but Out is controlling the position.

Smith has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Smith goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Out turns into him and now he's in Smith's guard.
Smith has control of Out's left arm, preventing Out from doing any damage.

Smith throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Out escapes and throws Smith's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Out stands up and beckons Smith to his feet.
Out fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Out's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Out scrambles back to his feet.
Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aj Smith will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The fight stays on the outside here - Out looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pablo Out seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Out looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Smith blocks a jab.
Out lands a nice shot that snaps Smith's head back.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Smith controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Smith throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Out keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.
Smith forces his way into half guard.
Out is looking for a sweep. Smith is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Smith is looking to take a break and control but Out is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith is taking a breather. Out says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Smith seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Out for as long as he can get away with.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Aj Smith wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Smith looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Out smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Out misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Out throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Out thuds a left hand into Smith's body.
Out staying out of range there.
Out takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Out lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Out slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Out wants to clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Aj Smith showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Smith has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
