Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack The Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Torbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torbett is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Unstoppable. Javier Torbett has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torbett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Ripper.

Torbett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from The Ripper.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Torbett is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Torbett can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as The Ripper controls the pace.
The Ripper seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Torbett for as long as he can get away with.
