Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jun Kawasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Pot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pot has chosen Showering of Money as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jun Kawasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Pot!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pot shoots in for a takedown but Kawasaki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

No joy there for Pot, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kawasaki scores with a one two! Pot had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Jack Pot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kawasaki tries to avoid it but Pot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kawasaki to the ground. Kawasaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Pot shoots in looking for a takedown. Kawasaki tries to sprawl out of it but Pot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kawasaki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kawasaki leaves Pot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Pot is working for a guillotine from mount but Kawasaki frees his head quite easily.
Pot can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kawasaki is looking to escape.
Kawasaki tries to hold on but Pot pushes him away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pot is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kawasaki to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kawasaki shrugs it off.

Pot is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kawasaki has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Pot can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kawasaki is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
