The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman scores with a hook to the body. Araribe takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Araribe needs to keep his hands up - Freeman had a free shot at his head there.
Freeman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Araribe. Araribe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Araribe gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Freeman counters with a stiff right hand.
Araribe has his takedown stuffed
and Freeman counters with a nice uppercut.
Freeman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Araribe tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Freeman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Araribe avoids a punch combination nicely.

enabling Freeman to counter with a crisp jab.
Freeman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Araribe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Freeman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Araribe on the side of the head.

Araribe moves forwards but Freeman connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Freeman lands a lovely overhand right.
Freeman clobbers Araribe with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Tutu Araribe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Freeman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Araribe sprawling to the canvas! Araribe rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Freeman finish him?!

Araribe is rocked!

Freeman drops Araribe with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Araribe looks back up at him and smiles so Freeman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Araribe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freeman lands with a nice body punch.
Araribe gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Freeman gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
