The crowd seem to be enjoying Roxas's choice of entrance music: Are You Ready?. Sean Roxas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Mon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Roxas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Roxas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Roxas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Roxas!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Roxas lands a strong strike to the head of Mon. That's dazed him! Roxas looking to finish here. Mon is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Roxas lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
