Rodriguez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Verdasco momentarily.
Gleik Verdasco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Verdasco changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rodriguez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Verdasco wants to stand but Rodriguez is controlling his arm.
Verdasco works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Rodriguez sneaks out the side door and pushes Verdasco away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Rodriguez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Verdasco is still on wobbly legs! Can Rodriguez finish him?

Rodriguez creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Verdasco's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Verdasco drops to his knees and Rodriguez pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
