Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Disturbed- Indestructible . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vladimir Putin!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee throws a shot to the body.
Putin throws a leg kick but Lee sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Putin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab.
Lee throws a series of punches but Putin moves out of range.
Putin tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.
Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Putin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Putin prevents Lee from breaking the clinch.
Lee is pressed up against the cage. Putin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lee down to the mat. Lee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Putin shoots in and bounces Lee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A close round but Vladimir Putin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Putins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Putin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lee fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Putin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Putin shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Putin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lee tries to hold on but Putin pushes him away.
Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Putin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lee can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Putin swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lee is now in Putin's guard. A big mistake from Putin there, giving up the dominant position!

Putin has momentary wrist control but Lee slips an elbow through the middle.

Lee drops back looking for a leg! Putin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Putin manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Putin's guard.
Lee is pushing down on Putin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Putin is fighting to maintain full guard but Lee has managed to sneak the leg through.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Putin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lee is working for a kimura but Putin is defending it quite comfortably.
Putin is looking for a sweep. Lee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Putin keeps working.

Lee is trying to control the action in half guard but Putin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lee feints a jab promting Putin to slip. Lee then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Putin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Lee drops Putin with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Putin! Lee dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
