The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kotromanic as he jumps to the side.
Ber uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kotromanic.
Kotromanic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ber.

Kotromanic gets caught napping as Ber dives in and scores a takedown. Kotromanic manages to retain guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ber postures up in Kotromanic's guard and throws a big left but Kotromanic blocks it.
Ber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kotromanic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ber throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kotromanic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ber is in Kotromanic's guard.

Kotromanic is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ber postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kotromanic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ber, into his guard.

Kotromanic wants to stand and escape but instead Ber has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Ber is looking to work some ground and pound but Kotromanic has wrist control.

Kotromanic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ber throws an elbow that misses. Kotromanic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ber's guard. Nice move by Kotromanic!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ber is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kotromanic is surviving well by controlling Ber's body position as best he can.

A big strike lands for Ber! That's really hurt Kotromanic and he's turned his back - Ber keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Ber jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
