PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poro Nussija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andersson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Now we are free. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nussija tries a head kick but it misses.
Andersson moves out of range as Nussija strikes.
Nussija fails to land with a series of punches.
Andersson avoids the head kick by Nussija.

Andersson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Andersson gets to his feet - Nussija follows without any prompting.
Nussija feints and then cracks Andersson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Andersson down.

Andersson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Andersson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Nussija is rocked!
Nussija is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nussija is still in real trouble! Can Andersson finish him?
Andersson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nussija on the ground.

Andersson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nussija seems to have recovered his senses.
Andersson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nussija was well out of range. Poor timing from Andersson.
Nussija throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nussija misses with a double jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nussija.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Andersson misses with a knee to the head.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Andersson avoids a wild elbow strike from Nussija.

Andersson seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Nussija tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Nussija has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Andersson. Oh but Nussija has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Andersson goes limp - he's gone! Nussija jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
