Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bradley Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Khash Mango!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mango rushes Robinson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Robinson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mango stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Robinson looking to throw knees to the head but Mango is blocking nicely.

Mango escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mango throws the kick towards the body but Robinson avoids it.

Mango takes the fight into the clinch.
Mango presses Robinson against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Mango is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Robinson to keep the fight standing.
Mango should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mango jumps guard but Robinson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Mango tries to land a knee to the head but Robinson blocks with his arms.
Mango crunches a lovely knee into Robinson's ribcage.
Robinson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mango tries to pull guard but Robinson won't allow it.
Bradley Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khash Mango.

Mango is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Mango is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Robinson is defending well.

Mango wants to get back to striking at distance but Robinson won't allow it.

Mango shoots in and bounces Robinson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Mango is stalling in the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Khash Mango hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mango pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Robinson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Mango shoots in looking for a takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl out of it but Mango keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mango shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robinson as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Khash Mango dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Mango throws a head kick but Robinson moves out of range.
Robinson blocks a head kick by Mango.
Mango lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mango shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Robinson defends it nicely.
Mango misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Mango looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mango passes to full mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mango's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Khash Mango.
Mango lands a high kick!

Robinson tries to keep at a distance but Mango has taken the fight into the clinch.

Mango manages to break the clinch.

Mango gets a clinch.
Mango pushes Robinson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mango is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Robinson is defending well for now.

Mango is trying to drag Robinson to the mat but Robinson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mango lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Robinson.
Mango landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Mango's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mango closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Robinson did well to prevent Mango getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khash Mango showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Mango goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Bradley Robinson has been cut.

Mango tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Robinson avoids it.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Mango.
Khash Mango seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Khash Mango comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mango has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Khash Mango decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
