Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanderson comes to the cage accompanied by I Run the Military. Hall has chosen Tinie Tempah - Simply Unstoppable as his entrance music. Warren Hall struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Dan Sanderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanderson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sanderson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Hall wants to get back to his feet.

Sanderson is trying to work for a kimura but Hall is defending well.

Sanderson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hall is just riding it out for now. Sanderson eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sanderson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hall lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanderson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanderson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hall throws a wild body kick that Sanderson sees coming a mile off.

Sanderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hall avoids it really well and circles away.

and Sanderson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hall's guard now.
Sanderson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hall's head.
Sanderson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall is trying to stand up here but Sanderson is controlling him well.

Sanderson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hall for as long as he can get away with.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Sanderson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sanderson wants to work for an arm triangle but Hall is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hall tries to kick Sanderson off in order to stand up. Sanderson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Sanderson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hall!

Sanderson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Sanderson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hall has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanderson cracks Hall with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Sanderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The referee warns Hall that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


Hall is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sanderson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hall scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sanderson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sanderson stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Sanderson!
