Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nowak has chosen Pokoj z Widokiem na Wojne - Chwile Próby as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Nowak!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowak closes the distance but Kowalski moves to the side
and Kowalski counters with a nice uppercut.
Kowalski slaps away a takedown attempt from Nowak, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nowak shoots for a double leg takedown but Kowalski sprawls well. He's pushed Nowak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kowalski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nowak.
Jan Kowalski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukasz Nowak.
Nowak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kowalski pinned against the cage. Kowalski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nowak takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kowalski throws a series of strikes that have Nowak backpedaling.
Lukasz Nowak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nowak misses with a takedown attempt - Kowalski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Kowalski counters with a three punch combo that has Nowak backing up. Nowak nods at Kowalski to acknowledge the strikes.

Kowalski moves into range and clinches up with Nowak.
Nowak jumps guard but Kowalski stands there with Nowak around his waist. Nowak gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Nowak.

Kowalski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kowalski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kowalski wants to stand and escape but Nowak is having none of it.
Kowalski keeping moving, preventing Nowak from controlling successfully.

Kowalski scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Nowak shoots in for a takedown but Kowalski shows good takedown defense.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nowak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kowalski is fending him off so far but Nowak persists. Nope, Kowalski circles away and we're back to standing.

Kowalski rushes Nowak and presses him up against the cage.
Kowalski on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kowalski just misses with a elbow thrown towards Nowak's brow.

Kowalski gets control of Nowak's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kowalski will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nowak shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kowalski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kowalski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kowalski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nowak sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nowak looks to clinch
letting Kowalski counter with a right hand.
Horrible takedown by Kowalski or perhaps it was just good defense by Nowak which made him look bad.

Kowalski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kowalski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nowak avoids it really well and circles away.
Kowalski pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Nowak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kowalski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nowak somewhat.

Nowak shoots in for a takedown but Kowalski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kowalski scores with the left hand. Nowak knows he should have avoided that one.
Kowalski bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nowak's head.
Nowak has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nowak there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nowak's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kowalski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nowak scrambles back to his feet.
Kowalski lands a slapping body shot.
Nowak takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kowalski pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nowak back to the cage. Kowalski follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nowak fails with a takedown attempt.
Kowalski is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

enabling Kowalski to counter with a crisp jab.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nowak checks a leg kick.
Nowak closes the distance and clinches up with Kowalski, looking for a takedown. Nowak pushes Kowalski against the cage but Kowalski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kowalski is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nowak pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Nowak tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kowalski tries to break the clinch but Nowak is controlling the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kowalski has Nowak pressed against the cage, preventing Nowak from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kowalski stands and steps away. Nowak gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kowalski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kowalski lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kowalski works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Nowak fails to land the takedown.
Nowak tries to move into range but Kowalski moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kowalski tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nowak is able to avoid easily.

Nowak closes the distance and clinches up with Kowalski, looking for a takedown. Nowak pushes Kowalski against the cage but Kowalski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kowalski feints a jab promting Nowak to slip. Kowalski then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nowak slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nowak shoots for a double leg takedown but Kowalski sprawls well. He's pushed Nowak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Nowak blocks a leg kick.
Nowak tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kowalski counters with a left and a right that stings Nowak.

Kowalski has managed to clinch.
Nowak wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Nowak is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kowalski to keep the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nowak stops Kowalski from standing up.

Kowalski pushes Nowak off and scrambles back to his feet.
Nowak has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Kowalski lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nowak shoots in looking for a takedown but Kowalski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nowak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nowak has a takedown stuffed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Nowak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kowalski's waist but Kowalski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nowak off to one side.

Nowak takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
