Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kip Pur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parsons has chosen Call Me The Breeze as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kip Pur !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Parsons!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons lands an overhand right.
Pur misses with a takedown
and Parsons counters with an inside leg kick.
Parsons misses with an uppercut.
Parsons throws a head kick but Pur moves out of range.
Parsons loads up on a big right hand but Pur slips the punch.
Pur shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parsons as he jumps to the side.
Pur has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kip Pur . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pur shoots in but Parsons avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pur fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pur will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Parsons throws a hook but Pur avoids it easily.
Parsons scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Parsons throws a head kick but Pur moves out of range.

Pur shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pur takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Parsons works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pur shoots in and drives through. Parsons sprawls well.
That kick from Parsons tenderised Pur 's leg. Pur is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pur takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Parsons with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Pur takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pur shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Parsons counters with a head kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parsons thuds a left hand into Pur 's body.
A jab from Parsons finds it's way through Pur 's defenses.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pur . He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Pur shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Parsons counters with a low kick, right behind Pur 's knee.
Pur is breathing heavily.
Parsons lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pur at a distance.
Pur keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Pur walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Pur shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parsons's guard.

Pur got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parsons has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pur has managed to get both his arms back between Parsons's legs - danger averted.

Pur in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Pur avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Parsons is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Parsons looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pur has picked Parsons up and slammed him! Parsons can't keep hold of the triangle and Pur manages to pass to side control!

Parsons has his foot on Pur 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pur works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parsons is pulling down on Pur 's head. It's preventing any offense from Pur , at least for the moment.

Pur is trying to control. Parsons wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Pur looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pur working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Parsons wants to get back to full guard.
Pur is trying to control. Parsons wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pur is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pur wants to pass to mount but Parsons is defending the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charlie Parsons dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Pur displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parsons throws out the jab.
Pur tries for a takedown but Parsons sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pur takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kip Pur is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pur tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parsons sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pur somewhat.
Parsons cracks Pur with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Parsons might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pur kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Charlie Parsons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Charlie Parsons comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Parsons has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
