Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcos Aurelio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brusso Do!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Do throws a hook but Aurelio avoids it easily.
Do throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Aurelio is looking to clinch but Do is avoiding it.
Do misses with a low kick.
A clash of legs there as Aurelio blocks the low kick.
Aurelio throws a jab when Do was well out of range.
The crowd cheers as Aurelio lands an impressive looking overhand right. Do doesn't seem phased though.
Do lands a leg kick that knocks Aurelio off balance momentarily.
Do tries to work over Aurelio's front leg with a kick but Aurelio checks it.
Aurelio avoids the head kick by Do.
Do throws a sloppy head kick and Aurelio moves out of range easily.
Do throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice leg kick lands there from Do.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice combo by Aurelio! Oh, that's hurt him - Do falls to the canvas and Aurelio follows him into side control.
It looks like Brusso Do has been cut.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Aurelio is looking to take a break and control but Do is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Do dodges the ground and pound from Aurelio.
Aurelio misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Do struggling a bit here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aurelio creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Do sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Aurelio has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Do!
Aurelio sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Do is looking to get to half guard.
Do holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Aurelio tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Aurelio punching from mount but Do doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aurelio connects with a bit shot that sees Do covering up! More strikes from Aurelio and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Aurelio is our winner by TKO!
