Brawler is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Face or perhaps it was just good defense by Brawler which made him look bad.
Brawler is breathing heavily.
Brawler throws a series of strikes that have Face backpedaling.
Brawler misses with a straight right.
New Brawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brawler shoots for a takedown but Face saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Face closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Face lands in his opponent's guard.
Face postures up in Brawler's guard and throws a big left but Brawler blocks it.
Face landing some decent shots from guard.
Face is looking to work some ground and pound but Brawler has wrist control.

Face gets to his feet - Brawler follows without any prompting.
Face shoots in for a takedown but Brawler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Face shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Face showed some decent athleticism there.
Brawler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Face on the ground.

Face is nestled in close to Brawler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Brawler on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Face not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Brawler has hold of Face's hands but Face slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Brawler avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Face.

Face has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Face is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Brawler is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
