The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roy clinches up with Fragoso and pushes him back against the cage.

Roy pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Roy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fragoso doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fragoso manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Roy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Roy tries to stand and escape but Fragoso is controlling the position.

Let's hope that Roy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Fragoso makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Roy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

and Roy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fragoso won't be happy with that.

Roy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fragoso is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Roy just content to control the position.
Fragoso knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roy on the ground.

Roy decides to stand back up.

Roy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fragoso can't keep his opponent in guard - Roy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Fragoso is refusing to be controlled, as Roy sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roy is working for a submission of some sort.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roy uses his free foot to push down on Fragoso's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fragoso.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fragoso reaches up and holds on to Roy to control the position.

Soham Roy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
