Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spinbob Cantrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cantrell comes to the cage accompanied by Scorpions - Winds of Change. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantrell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Silva.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Cantrell lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Cantrell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Silva throws a looping overhand right but Cantrell ducks down to avoid it.
Cantrell misses the jab.
Cantrell avoids the body shot from Silva.
A big right from Cantrell misses.
Silva fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Silva scores with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cantrell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cantrell rather than just go for the knockout.
Cantrell doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cantrell, right into the meat.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cantrell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cantrell thows a left - swing and a miss!
Silva throws a shot to the body.
Silva forces Cantrell back against the cage and clinches.
Cantrell tries to throw a body punch but Silva avoids it by throwing Cantrell back against the cage.
Cantrell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Silva tries to pull guard but Cantrell won't allow it.

Cantrell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Silva's guard.
Cantrell has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cantrell controls the pace.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Silva postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cantrell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Silva, into his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cantrell defends it easily.
Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Cantrell is proving a slippery customer.
Cantrell wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cantrell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Silva looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silva looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cantrell has picked Silva up and slammed him! Silva can't keep hold of the triangle and Cantrell manages to pass to side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva tries to buck Cantrell off but Cantrell is having none of it.
Silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cantrell off and has taken his back!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cantrell rolls, trying to escape but Silva keeps control of the position.

Silva is looking for the choke from the back position but Cantrell is controlling his hands well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva looking to break Cantrell's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Cantrell remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Silva will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Cantrell is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Ronaldo Silva dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silva scores with a decent looking hook.
Silva cracks Cantrell with a good jab.
Silva scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Cantrell fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Cantrell explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Silva lands a slapping body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cantrell.
Silva lands a head shot.
Cantrell thows a body kick. Silva tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Oooh a lovely combination from Silva sends Cantrell down but not out. Silva dives into side control looking to finish.
Cantrell is rocked!
It looks like Spinbob Cantrell has been cut.

Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cantrell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Oh Cantrell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cantrell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Cantrell is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Silva is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cantrell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cantrell tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silva is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Cantrell is surviving well by controlling Silva's body position as best he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ronaldo Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Spinbob Cantrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cantrell tries to land a front kick but Silva steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Cantrell tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
Cantrell throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.

Ronaldo Silva is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Cantrell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Still in the clinch, Cantrell scores with a nice short uppercut.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Spinbob Cantrell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Silva throws the left hand but Cantrell avoids the punch easily.

Cantrell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Silva takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A jab from Silva does it's job there.
That kick from Cantrell tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cantrell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Silva tries to clinch but Cantrell is having none of it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva moves out of range of the body kick.
Silva pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cantrell back to the cage. Silva follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Silva checks a low kick from Cantrell.
And that's the end of the fight!
Spinbob Cantrell showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
