PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Ladin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Highway to hell. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Ladin!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Davids does no damage.
Davids tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ladin counters with a straight right hand.
Davids pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Davids throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Ladin counters by clinching up.

Ladin manages to break the clinch.
Davids has his takedown stuffed
enabling Ladin to counter with a crisp jab.
Davids has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ladin finds it's way round the side to connect with Davids's head.
Davids tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Ladin moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ladin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ladin thows a body shot but no joy.
Davids misses with a takedown attempt
and Ladin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Davids looks to clinch

and Ladin counters with a head kick that drops Davids to the mat! Davids scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Davids is rocked!
Davids loses concentration momentarily and Ladin pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Davids crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Ladin finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ben Ladin!
