Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hype Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kong King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Hype Williams has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hype Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kong King!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams lands an overhand right.
King shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Williams feints a jab promting King to slip. Williams then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. King slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Kong King has been cut.
King shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.
King tries for a takedown but Williams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hype Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kong King.
King misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
King avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
King gets cracked there but stands up to it.

King looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
King is pressing down on Williams's thigh, looking to free his foot. Williams is holding on for now.

King throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Williams is trying to stand.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
King thows a huge punch but Williams dodges it nicely.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.

Williams pushes King off looking to stand but King dives back in and keeps control.

King tries to pass to full mount but Williams defends it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King moves into full mount! Williams won't be happy about that!

King pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs.
King prevents Williams from standing back up.
King thows a huge punch but Williams dodges it nicely.
King stops Williams from getting back to his feet.
King not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
King not landing any meaningful shots this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
King wants to pass the guard but Williams is defending well.
King looks to land a strike but Williams avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kong King dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kong King's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

King tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten King somewhat.

Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from King.

King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily.
King shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Williams tests King's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Williams fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. King looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
King misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

King drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Williams stops King from passing to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King in side control, throwing shots but Williams defends.
Williams dodges the ground and pound from King.
King prevents Williams from escaping the position.
King tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
King is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williams is not content to let King control the position.
Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position.
King tries to advance to mount but can't.
King misses with the ground and pound.

Williams managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by King.
King is trying to ground and pound but Williams uses the momentary lack of control by King to regain half guard.
King missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
King looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Williams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
King scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. King connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple.


Williams is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. King lands a nice short elbow.
Oh Williams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King lands a big elbow - Williams is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for King!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kong King!
During a confident post fight interview, Kong King thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
