Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Almunia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Bahamonde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bahamonde has chosen Ennio Morricone FT. Nas - Ecstasy of Gold as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Almunia takes the fight into the clinch.
Bahamonde is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Almunia is defending well for now.

Almunia is working Bahamonde over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bahamonde pushes Almunia away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Almunia gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
