Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cu III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dic Cheddars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dic Cheddars is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheddars throws a right and a left that both miss.

Cheddars gets caught flat footed, as III shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Cheddars throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Cheddars has his foot on III's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. III works his way back into a safe position though.

III is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cheddars is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
III tries to pull guard but Cheddars holds him up against the cage and eventually III drops back down to his feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Cu III wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Cheddars tries a head kick but it misses.

Cheddars shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has III pinned against the cage. III gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cheddars is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cu III. That's going to take a lot out of him.

III closes the distance and clinches up with Cheddars, looking for a takedown. III pushes Cheddars against the cage but Cheddars circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cheddars throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from III lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cheddars has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cheddars and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Cheddars throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

III is rocked!
Cheddars seems to be stalking III here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! III drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
