The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabago throws a series of punches but Guapo moves out of range.
Guapo lands with a nice body punch.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rabago. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Guapo lands a left and a right that send Rabago crashing to the mat, dazed. Guapo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rabago doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Guapo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rabago doesn't seem bothered though.
Guapo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Guapo throws a right hand that Rabago ducks under and follows up with a left that Rabago also avoids with ease.

Guapo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rabagos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rabago takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Guapo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rabago had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Guapo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rabago looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rabago gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Guapo clobbers Rabago with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rabago takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rabago takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Guapo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Guapo lands a nice looking body shot.
Guapo punishes Rabago's body with a nice straight punch.
El Guapo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guapo cracks Rabago with an open hand slap.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Guapo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rabago doesn't seem bothered though.
Rabago walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Guapo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

El Guapo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Guapo sizes up Rabago with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Rabago counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rabago.

Rabago drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rabago jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rabago is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Guapo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ryan Rabago.

Rabago takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rabago drops his hands momentarily and Guapo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Guapo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rabago.

Guapo stuffs the takedown attempt from Rabago. Rabago gets slowly back to his feet.

Rabago walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Guapo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rabago stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Guapo lands with a nice combination. Rabago backs away looking to recover.

Oooooh!!! Guapo has knocked Rabago down with a huge combo! Guapo steps away and waves a wobbly Rabago back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Guapo drops Rabago with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rabago! Guapo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
