Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Flinch!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kraken, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Flinch looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kraken throws a series of punches but Flinch avoids them all with ease.
Flinch gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kraken tries to bum rush Flinch with a series of wild strikes but Flinch uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kraken gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Flinch counters with a shoot takedown. Kraken fights it but they end up in guard.
Flinch throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kraken works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kraken is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kraken escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flinch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
