Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocko Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Cordo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordo has chosen UFC Theme Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rod is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rod shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rod is breathing heavily.
Rod avoids the attempt from Cordo to control.
Rod prevents Cordo from getting the reversal.
Cordo tries to control Rod's body but Rod pushes him off. Cordo squirms to his side and now Rod has his back!
Cordo trying to control but not successfully.
You can see the frustration on Cordo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Rod is persistently looking for the submission but Cordo is defending it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cordo tries to roll but Rod sticks to his back.
Cordo looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Cordo is trying to stand back up.
Rod is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I really don't envy Cordo right now.

Rod scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Cordo is looking for a way out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cordo is trying to defend against the choke here but Rod has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Rod Tightens the hold and Cordo taps out furiously! Rod displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
