And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Snozynsky!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Snozynsky.
Snozynsky is looking to take a break and control but Spyridon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Spyridon is trying to buck Snozynsky off.

Snozynsky in side control, just content to control the action for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Snozynsky uses his free foot to push down on Spyridon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Spyridon.

Let's hope that Snozynsky has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Snozynsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
