The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crimson wants to clinch

and Rua moves into the clinch.

Rua works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Rua advances position into side control!
Crimson is looking for a sweep.
Crimson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rua off and has taken his back!
Rua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crimson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Crimson working for a choke but Rua is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crimson cracks Rua with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Rua from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

It looks like Brock Rua has been cut.

Crimson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rua knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rua for a finish.
Rua tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Crimson swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
