Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalevi Kumijalka!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumijalka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kurmotus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kumijalka listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kumijalka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kurmotus throws a poor cross that misses
and Kumijalka counters with a good low kick that Kurmotus was not able to check.
Kumijalka avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kurmotus throws a sloppy head kick and Kumijalka moves out of range easily.
Kumijalka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kurmotus tries a head kick but it misses.
Kurmotus tests Kumijalka's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kurmotus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kurmotus throws a nice looking combination but Kumijalka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kurmotus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kumijalka manages to avoid it.
Nice shot lands for Kurmotus.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kurmotus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kumijalka moves away.
Kurmotus misses with an uppercut.
Taisto Kurmotus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurmotus clobbers Kumijalka with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kurmotus tries to clinch up.
Kumijalka throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kumijalka takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kumijalka is rocked!
Kurmotus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kumijalka.
Kumijalka is still on wobbly legs! Can Kurmotus finish him?
Kurmotus feints a jab and as Kumijalka dips his head, Kurmotus unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Kumijalka right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Kumijalka falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Kurmotus smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Taisto Kurmotus!
