Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robb shoots in for a takedown but Murdock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Murdock lands a slapping body shot.
Robb shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Murdock is trying to defend but Robb finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Robb has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Robb lands a nice short elbow.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Robb in particular looking to stall.
Murdock is looking for a sweep. Robb is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Murdock wants to get back to full guard but Robb has mounted him!
Robb jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Murdock manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Murdock tries to get back to half guard but can't.

It looks like Nick Murdock has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Robb cracks Murdock with a big right hand but Murdock just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Robb lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Robb cracks Murdock with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Robb has hold of Murdock's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Murdock tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Robb cranks the arm and Murdock screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Murdock, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sam Robb!
