PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scary Gerry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, LL Cool J - It´s time for war. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gerry pushes Tyler up against the cage in a clinch.
Tyler looking for a takedown.

Gerry wants the takedown. Tyler is fighting it off but Gerry persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tyler's guard against the cage.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tyler not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gerry trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Gerry wants to get up but he can't break Tyler's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Tyler is trying to control the position but Gerry postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gerry throws a big elbow that misses.

Tyler is looking to sinch up a triangle. Gerry throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tyler's body to avoid the submission. Tyler has instead reached around Gerry's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tyler arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

After winning the bout, John Tyler thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
