Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Tykki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ping Pong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Timo Tykki!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pong tries to clinch but Tykki is having none of it.
Pong lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Pong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tykki.
Tykki scores with a body shot.
A jab from Tykki misses.
Tykki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tykki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pong avoids the body shot from Tykki.
Pong pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Timo Tykki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pong lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pong comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tykki takes a jab right on the kisser.
Pong connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tykki takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nice body punch from Tykki.
Tykki misses with a lunging right hand
and Tykki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pong cracks Tykki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pong's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tykki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pong scrambles back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A slow jab from Tykki misses its intended target.
Tykki lands a nice looking body shot.
Pong is breathing heavily.
Pong tries to clinch but Tykki moves out of range.
Tykki drops Pong with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pong! Tykki dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timo Tykki!
