Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alphonse Rosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Star Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alphonse Rosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Star Fighter!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa shoots and misses
and Fighter counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Rosa is breathing heavily.
Fighter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rosa did well to prevent Fighter getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fighter decides to return to a standing position.
Fighter tries to close the distance and clinch but Rosa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fighter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rosa sprawls well initially but Fighter persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fighter stands up out of the half guard.
Fighter is looking to clinch but Rosa is avoiding it.
Fighter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Fighter loads up on a big right hand but Rosa slips the punch.
Fighter throws a combination. Rosa tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Alphonse Rosa has been cut.
Fighter tries to clinch up but Rosa circles away and keeps his distance.
Fighter wants to clinch.
Rosa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rosa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Fighter is working Rosa over with some ground and pound from side control.
Fighter landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Fighter in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Fighter has hold of Rosa's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Rosa tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fighter cranks the arm and Rosa screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Rosa, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Star Fighter!
